A well woman exam is a preventive visit focused on your reproductive and overall health. It's a chance to stay on top of screenings recommended for your age, ask questions in a private and comfortable setting, and build an ongoing relationship with a provider who knows your history.

These visits are recommended on a regular basis, even if you're feeling healthy — many conditions are easiest to manage when caught early.
