Physical Exams

Annual physicals are preventive exams that help your doctor stay on top of your health. They are used to check for early indicators of diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid issues, bowel issues, heart disease, anxiety, depression, and more.

Dr. Khan will tailor your physical to your health needs. In most cases, it includes:

    • Body mass index (BMI) measurement
    • Blood pressure and pulse
    • Lung function test
    • Laboratory blood and urine tests
    • Comprehensive physical evaluation
    • PPD screening for tuberculosis for healthcare workers

During your an annual physical, Dr. Khan will also ensure you are up to date on essential vaccinations. Intercare Clinic now offers COVD-19 rapid tests, PCR and antibody test, with results available on-site within minutes.

DOT

A Department of Transportation (DOT) physical is a health examination mandated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. During your DOT physical, we will determine if you are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to operate a CMV.

The FMCSA requires drivers to complete and pass a DOT physical to maintain a valid commercial driver’s license.

School Physicals

School physicals are annual wellness checkups required by most schools before a student can participate in sports and other activities. The exam allows your doctor to assess the patient’s development and address any physical, emotional, or social concerns. During this examination, essential vaccinations are also updated.
